FRODIN, NGF 26742, 10/5/66 Locality: Limestone pothole region, 10 mi. south of Cape Ruge, Talasea, New Britain. Lat . 5 35 S Long0 147 24 E Habitat: Lowland rain forest on ridgetop. Altitude 600 feet. Annot. Tree; buttresses absent; height 40 feet, d.b.h. 6 inches. Bark grey, slightly fissured, lenticular. Blaze light red-brown. Wood straw. Sticky milky white exudate present. Leaves apple- green on upper surface; light green on lower surface; pubescence on leaves white; on branchlets brown, Flowers orange. Moraceae Ficus Farrt. Name: Dupl. sent to: L.
