Locality:Upper Johanna River in foothills
of Whiteman Range, Gasmata, New Britain.

Habitat: Altitude 900 feet. In gallery
forest at edge of river, dominated by
Eucalyptus deglupta.
Annot. Tree, height 40 feet, bole 10 feet,
d.b.h. 10 inches. Bark grey-white; strongly
lenticular, the lenticels scattered. Blaze
light red; inner bark green. Wood cream,
milky sap present. Leaves yellow-green on
both sides, but lighter on under surface.
