high in young secondary vegetation.
Alluvial flat near river, terrain level..
Tree 45 m high. Clear bole 10 m, c. 1 m
diam. above the buttresses which are out
2—7 m, high 3 m, thick to 25 cm. Outer
bark greyish, 1—5 mm thick, not fissur-
ed, not peeling off. Inner bark 2.3 cm
thick, on section about ochrish cream,
with abundant white latex. Fruit mature,
brown, aril whitish, sweet.
Seeds for cult, to Leiden.
