ARTOCARPUS ODORATISSIMA Blanco FI. FiMp. (1837) 671 (Arctocar- pus) (sp. nov.); ed. 2 (1845) 467; ed. 3, 3 (1879). 78. This is apparently an entirely valid species, identical with Artocm'pus tara/p Becc. of Borneo. Blanco’s specimens were from MindorO, there known as oloy; the tree still occurs in parts of Mindoro where it is cultivated for its edible fruits, but is much more common in Mindanao and in Basilan.
