    Tall spreading trees 15 metres high or higher; the larger branches from the middle, rigid and crookedly re-branched; ultimate twigs slender, flexible, greenish; bark grey, rather rough, coarsely and irregularly checked; wood closely grained, hard; leaves paler beneath; and sub-coriaceous; "Tigdog" - wood very hard.
