Undisturbed dense hill forest 35 m high,
with little undergrowth. Deep clayey
volcanic soil. Along hill ridge
Tree 25 m high. Clear bole 12 m, 35 cm
dbh, buttresses c. 1 m high. Outer bark
brownish, inner bark brown, wood cream-
coloured. Flower buds pale greenish.
