shiny green; young foliage flushing pale green; mature leaves distichous,
coriaceous, adaxial surface very dark green, abaxially medium green;
inflorescence terminal and infrafoliar; tepals 5, yellow, spreading, distally
recurved; stamens many, light green at the base otherwise yellow.
