    On gravelly roadside and talus at base of cliffs in mixed conifer-hardwood forest above E escarpment of river. Small population. Light brown soil, pH ca. 6.5.

  • Description

    Corollas red-violet, some blue-violet, tube darker so, throat paler within abaxially; staminode/filament tips with sparse white hairs; anthers black, tan along sutures, abaxial pair ± exserted at mouth; nectar sweetly fragrant. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
