    Among basalt rocks on northwest-facing talus slope. With Artemisia, Eriogonum and Stephanomeria.

  • Description

    Plants biennial, to 1 m tall; stems solid in cross-section; petals white, linear, ca. 1 mm wide; fruiting pedicels divergent at right angles, straight to upcurved, obscurely winged proximally; fruits terete, ± torulose and arcuate, to 75 mm long, short stipitate, the stipe to 3 mm long, expanded proximally. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
