E facing 30-60° slope.
Meadow. Undisturbed.
Meadow around lake with steep boulder covered hillside
covered mostly with perennial herbs leading up to the
ridge.
Perennial rush. Bracts purplish red. Flowers white.
Anthers yellow. Rare.
Growing among moss on moist open slope.
Among boulders on granite.
