Common, lm shrub; Flower: white throat (exterior), pink at tips of
petals, deep purple throat (interior), stamens adenate to style, 5
stigmas on 1 style tube; Fruit: locucidal dehiscent capsule; Seeds:
gray, 2mm long; persistent hairy calyx and epicalyx. n.v. algodon de
monte.
