DEPTO. SANTA CRUZ, Prov. Vallegrande, 5.9 km (by air)
NW of central plaza of Vallegrande,
18°26'59.7"S, 64°08′50″W. alt. 1915 m.

Narrow valley, almost a gorge, of the Río La Ciénega, N-
facing slope, brushy vegetation with scattered larger trees of
Tipuana tipu, Schinopsis marginata. On shale and
sandstone, with bedding planes at the same angle as the
slope, forming "lajas" with some bare rocky exposures.

Vine; sap milky. Flowers white.
