Mexico. Guerrero. Sierra Madre del Sur, along the Milpillas-Atoyac road via Puerto del Gallo, about 45 miles southwest of Mexico Highway 95, 14 miles southwest of Filo de Caballo and 8.7 miles southwest of Carrazal del Bravo.

Habitat
In forested areas south of road, associated with Quercus, Pinus and other deciduous trees.

A clambering grass with long, thin stems. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
