Summit area dominated by mossy knarled forest of
Bubbia howeana-Lepidorrhachis mooreana-Dracophyllum fitzgeraldii-Hedyscepe canterburyana with upper slopes
of *Metrosideros* nervulosa, Melaleuca howeana, and
Cassinia tenuifolia. Lower slopes and the Erskine
Valley of closed rain forest of Drypetes and *Cryptocarya*. Basalt rock exposed on higher slopes.
