    Host Notes: thallus; Dacampia hookeri is the type host of Stigmidium schaereri; Dacampia hookeri is lichenicolous itself, usually upon species of the Solorina bispora group (see Henssen, Crypt. Bot. 5: 149-158, 1995), but often, as is the case in the material distributed here, the primary host is not recognizable anymore
