Description
Creeping roots, from which the stems rise to 4 ft.; flowers greenish white; erect or reclining herbs with branched and creeping rootstocks, 2 to 6 feet high; infrutescence bright indigo blue, usually persistent while the leaves decay and generally upon shorter stalks than the foliage stalks.
