Habitat
Rolling, unconsolidated sandy soil, weathered to somewhat reddish. Taller subtropical forest, mostly evergreen. With Anadenanthera colubrina, Astronium, Scheelea princeps.

Description
Shrubs, slender, 2 m. tall. Flowers few, greenish and white, not very conspicuous. Leaves used to make a tea which is reddish in color. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
