    Note: agrees much better with L. tenebrosa than with L. fuscocinerea, in L. fuscocinerea - areoles much lighter gray - much more scattered - and thallus not so beautifully margined

    Lecidea fuscocinerea Nyl.
    Note: seems nearest Lecidea fusco-cinerea Nyl. but the hypothecium is hardly dark and the thallus hardly effuse, I have no good material for comparison
