Description
Coarse erect grass, stems terete, 1/2 inch thick; leaves in alternating distichous rows, ascending, dark or rather dull green on both sides, the margins usually curved upon the upper side; the base of the leaves or ligules pale yellow; the stalks of the strict panicle green, the spikelets grayish brown; "Bung-bung".
