above Spirit Lake headed to the treeline, along trail to
Jessen Lake, approx. 150 m from junction to Tamarack
Lake.
40° 49' 59.92" N 110° 07' 36.87" W +-120 meters[WGS84]
Elev: 3139 - 3170m. (10300 -10400 ft.)
Wet meadow with numerous rivulets; edged by Subalpine
Fir and Englemann Spruce; in shade under conifers among
a boulder field.
Infrequent, but forming large thickets when found
