growing in rocky loam on the west-
facing slope of a small side canyon
on the E side of Jizigou Canyon
ca. 0.5 km S of Jiuhuping Forest Farm.
Elevation ca. 1700 m. Small evergreen
tree ca. 2.5 m tall, the inmature
"fruits" green.
