Plateau, fiill sun, well-drained soil of old alluvial sand. Native and abundant.
Savanna with Terminalia, Combretum.
Perennial geophyte, up to 30cm high, bulb 5cm in diam. Leaves simple,
alternate, 20-25 x 5-7mm, linear, acuminate, margins entire. Inflorescence a
raceme with flowers white with green center line.
