    Capsula oblongo-pyriformi, operculo conico rostellato, peristomii dentibus aureo-lutescentibus, vaginulaque emersa, a F. octoblephari affini differt. "Leaves about 0.2 mm long x 0.75 mm with 3 to 6 teeth on either side. Median cells of leaf 6 to 8 µ wide and 40 or 45 [µ] long." - R. S. Williams.
