Mixed hardwood (Acer, Amelanchier, Diospyros, Prunus, Nyssa, Quercus alba, Q. rubra) – pine (Pinus strobus, P. virginiana) forest with schist outcrops and Kalmia-Rhododendron understory. on young Quercus rubra.
