On gentle northern hill slope of pasture in shade or partial shade. In well-drained
rocky soil of sandstone/dolerite loam. Native and common. Grassland.
Perennial herb, 50 cm high. Simple leaves alternate, glabrous, succulent, leaf
margin entire. Yellow flowers in a panicle.
