air) of El Tomo, ridgetop on sandstone above and W of the
waterfalls at Espejillos.
17°53’33”S, 63o28’30”-63°27’50”W. alt. 1100-1150 m.
Shrubland and open grazed grassland.
Shrublets to 1 m. tall, or sometimes here a gnarled treelet to
2.5 m. tall, with trunks to 8 cm. in diameter. Petals yellow,
then orange.
