Grazed, upland, shortgrass prairie and canyons with extensive outcrops of
the Ogallala Formation. Patchy, wooded, riparian corridor along the creek.
First record of species in Kansas. Restricted to ca SO yd stretch of the N
bank of Beaver Creek. Shrubs 3-8 ft. tall.
