km NE of junction that leads to either Usina or Cavalcante. 13°
23.766'S, 48° 7.206'W. 365 m elevation. Intact campos rupestres and
cerrados over light brown sandy soils. Weak shrub to 0.5 m, corollas
white, inflorescences conspicuously four-sided as in R. erythropus or
the Blechum lineage, but fruits lacking elastically dehiscent placentae,
relatively common under other vegetation along roadsides.
