WINDHAM CO.: ca, 1 mi N of Bellows Falls, Rte. 5, backwater pond of Connecticut River W of RR. Flowers white, pungently fragrant, abundant nectar; pollen not visible; fruits occasional; locally frequent in 2-3 ft water; rhizome pithy; water apparently neutral to alkaline. Steven R. Hill no. 17043 14 August 1986 w/ John H. Wiersema 2. C. tuberosa (Paine) Greene. Lake Champlain, west through the Great Lakes to Mich., south to Pa., Del. and Ark. Known definitely oixly from Pocatquissing Creek and from near Trenton, both in Mercer Co. and from^Ot^May^C^, N. ^925-^^ 04211475
