north of border crossing to Armenia known as the "Red Bridge."
On peninsula of land between the Mtkvari and the Debeda Rivers.
41° 22.537' N: 45° 4.199' E. Elevation: ca. 288 m. (coordinates
and elevation from hand-held GPS; coordinates accurate to within
a radius of about 25 m)
Flooded forest with Quercus, Crataegus, Carpinus orientalis,
Gleditsia, Populus, Comus and many lianas such as Smilax,
Hedera, Ligustrum and Lonicera.
Petals dark purple, tips green; corona purple.
