The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Asclepiadaceae Matelea rivularis Woods. det. M. Nee, 2000 Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Ichilo, 5 km. (by air) SW of El Cóndor, vicinity of the “línea roja” delimiting the boundary of Parque Nacional Amboró. 17°28’S, 64°09’W. alt. 500 m. Moderate slopes at base of easternmost Andean foothills. Tropical evergreen forest, with Iriartea, Talauma boliviana, only selective logging of Swietenia macrophylla and other species about 12 years ago. Guarea pterorrhachis.
