17°28’S, 64°09’W. alt. 500 m.
Moderate slopes at base of easternmost Andean foothills.
Tropical evergreen forest, with Iriartea, Talauma boliviana,
only selective logging of Swietenia macrophylla and other
species about 12 years ago. Guarea pterorrhachis.
Dense colonies of short plants adhering to rocks and
boulders along rocky Río San Luis in flood zone.
