Matelea rivularis
Santa Cruz: Ichilo. By stream just below Campamiento
Mataratu, Amboro Park. Alt. 500 m.
Primary lowland rain forest on sandy soil cut by streams
with calcium deposits; few areas of disturbance. Locally
abundant on permanently wet rocks by forest stream.
Perennial herb growing in clumps and shortly rooting at
base. Stems to c. 50 cm. Leaves green. Corolla brown.
