Primary lowland rain forest on sandy soil cut by streams with calcium deposits; few areas of disturbance. Locally abundant on permanently wet rocks by forest stream. Perennial herb growing in clumps and shortly rooting at base. Stems to c. 50 cm. Leaves green. Corolla brown. J.RL Wood 16103 25th March 2000 EX HERB. HORT. BOT. REG. KEW.
