    Moist forested valleys in the afternoon fog belt. Plants common, this species apparently just coming into flowering period.

  • Description

    Shrubs to 3 m. Stems stiff, erect, ultimate branches spreading. Leaves deep green, smooth and nitid above; pale below. Spikes erect. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
