A perennial ?ine climbing over dead limbs a few yards off the moist ground in forests at 75o feet, along the trail to Hapsan; stem at most 1/4 inch thick* terete, tough, grayish white, or greenish white, twining, slender, occasionally branched; branches drooping bearing scattered opposite leaves; the stout leaf petioles twistingly ascending; blades flat, descending or pendant, glaucous green beneath, nearly equally thick throughout with blunt margins; peduncle ascending, leaf opposed or axillary, 5 Inches long, rery slender, glaucous green and sprinkled with purple; jvftR safe flowers, odorless, oohraleucous and similarly sprinkled with purple; pods subpendant, glaucous green and densely purple spotted on the exposed side, terete, 6 inches long, l/4 inch thlalt, gradually tapering toward the apex, nearly straight; Puerto vO*£> B<3tan|«AL 04192872 PHILIPPINE ISLANDS PLANTS DISTRIBUTED BY A.
