The rest of the citation (attached here) reads: "This determination may not be
correct when compared with type of Schlechter’s Celebes plant."
Not only does it not match Schlechter's Celebes plant, it does not match the un-
published H. gracilis subsp. philippinensis Schltr.
My obsevation of A.D.E. Elmer’s determinations is that he could give Hector
Levielle a superiority complex! — C.M. Burton
