of primary forest.

Tree, - 30 m tall, first branches at 16 m. Bole cylindrical,
tree with small crown.
Bark grey, fissured, wood creamy. D.B.H.: 50 cm.
Branchlets pale brown; leaves coriaceous, glossy, dark green a-
bove, dull and paler green beneath.
Calyx pale green, corolla white.
Immature fruits glossy, dark green, seeds pale brown.
Tree with white latex.
