Cordillera. 6 km W of highway at town of Rio Seco on road to La Florida. 18° 39' S; 63° 17' W. (coordinates from hand-held GPS) Elevation: 550 m. Chaco forest on mostly flat topography, sandy soil. With Astronium, Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Phyllostylon rhamnoides, Bromelia serra, Capparis speciosa, C. retusa, Ximenia americana. In water of drainage ditch approx 15 cm deep.
