Secondary (30-40 years old) subtropical
semi-deciduous forest, the trees to 15 m.
tall, dominated by Anadenanthera macrocarpa,
Gallesia integrifolia, Rhamnidium elaeocarpum.
Small tree, 7 m. tall, 25 cm. in diameter, gnarled
bark furrowed. Latex scant, milky. Open flowers
odorless, pale yellowish.
