slopes, pre-Cambrian rocks.
16°36’S, 62°26’W. alt. 500 m.
"jichituriqui" Tree 10 m. tall, 18 cm. in diameter;
bark furrowed, light brown; wood light tan. Leaves
turning dark brown even with efficient drying.
Fruit opening during drying. Voucher for wood
specimen, MADw 46909.
