Description
Woody bases of the stems mostly underground; inflorescence secund; corolla ampliate, flat and 2-ridged below, bulged above, the upper lip arched, the lower lip projecting, the lobes blue, the throat violet, sometimes white within, the palate white bearded; staminode pale yellow bearded, included; longer anthers slightly exserted. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
