of intermontane slopes, valleys and bogs.
Altitude 1000-1500 m.
Rocky Valley bog (fenced in area).
Herbs of the *Sphagnum* moss beds in loose,
large colonies. Flowers varying shades
of blue, but sometimes pinkish or salmon.
Regionally common.
