Puntarenas: Monteverde in pastures of Campbell
farm at 1450-1500 m elev. 10°18'N, 84°48'W.
Very common epiphyte on twigs or on trunks of
trees in open pastures. Color varies from
yellow to dark wine-purple in the sepals; petals
lip andvcolumn are totally maroon.
