ORCHIDS OF PERU
Stanhopea nigripes vel aff.
Sepals and petals pale orange, with reddish
purple spots; epichile wax white with many
small purple dots; mesochile and horns wax
white; hypochile with internal sac very dark
red-black, base intense orange; column
greenish down the middle, wings hyaline, with
brown to brownish purple spots.
