fragrant(reminescent of Hawaiian maile); lvs
herbaceous textured/glossy dk gm above/lighter
below; stipules light gm/caducous; st jointed;
spikes gm turning white.
Locality: Morobe province; Saruwaget Range,
about halfway between Gawam and
Gwabadik(=Gobadik) villages.
Habitat: Mature unlogged forest, densely shaded
banks of clear-flowing stream.
