Habitat: Lower montane zone Vernacular Name : Bala(Nasingalatu), Use: The leaves are heated and the juice is applied to sores. Widely used in Asia for chewing along with lime and betel pepper. Date: 3/12/1994 Description : Climber, leaves 5 -9 nerved, acuminate. Dioecious. Flowers in pendulous, solitary spikes. The fruit is a cylindrical, fleshy, composite of berries. H.
