Elev. 2700 m	27° 10’ 17" N, 98° 46’ 10" E
SW facing 10-30° slope.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Undisturbed.
Primary forest with little disturbance except just next
to road.
Terrestrial from forming a rosette from a short erect
rhizome. Rare.
Growing on forest floor in shade on a moist slope.
In humus on granite.
