Piper taboganum C.DC.
On a rocky knoll,in the shade of overhanging
rocks in the dry savanna. This is the lone piperaceous
plant met with in the trip ( Piperaceae are as a rule
very rare between this region and the whole of Western
Anzoátegui and Eastern Guárico ); a weedy shrub,height
not exceeding 1.50 meters.
