km S of turnoff at Cuevas of Bermejo-Samaipata highway.
Steep-sided valley between massive red sandstone hills,
disturbed scrubby forest, with some Alnus acuminata along
stream, much Myrsine.
18°12’S, 63°41’30”W. alt. 1250 m.
Shrubs 2-3 m. tall, 3 cm. in diameter, in shade along
wooded part of gorge. Inflorescence at 45 degrees below the
horizontal on some plants, to more or less pendant on
others, white at first, then green.
