Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Andrés Ibáñez Prov. 3 km. SW of center of La Belgica.

Habitat
Savanna-like brushy area. With Acrocomia totai, Scheelea princeps, Syagrus cf. botryophora, S. cf. cardenasii. Apparently rare in the region.

Description
Colony, in loose clumps of 2-5 plants; stems less than 0.5 m. tall, but apparently gets to at least 2 m. tall here. Petiole ca. 1 m. long; rachis of blade 1.9 m. long; leaflets 71-74 per side, in groups of 3-4, at different angles. Inflorescences ± erect or arching; spathe brown; mostly past flowering; inflorescence yellow-green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
