    Host Notes: thallus; Abrothallus bertianus originally was described as a lichen; Santesson (Svensk Bot. Tidskr. 54: 513 f., 1960) restudied two isotypes in VER and RO and identified the host as Melanelixia glabratula (sub Parmelia fuliginosa var. laetevirens)
